  • About

On the 27th April, 17 friends, family and suppporters of FEES Fund - Euan, Julie, Laura, Scott, Vicki, Hazel, Ian, Julie, Julia, Jane G, Andrea, Harry, Jo, Jane E, Amanda, Karri and Susan are under taking the Kilt Walk, a 22.7 mile walk starting from Glasgow’s iconic Glasgow Green and finishing in the idyllic surroundings of Balloch, Loch Lomond.

With the countdown on, we'll profile all walkers over the coming days, please show your support, thank you.

Day 1: Jane and Ian Gomm are looking forward to taking part in the Kilt Walk and enjoying the Scottish countryside. We are supporting a great charity in memory of a great girl.

Day 2: Vicki, Fi's mum. I'm very excited about taking part in the kilt walk. As Fi’s mum I know how much she loved visits to Scotland

Fi was fiercely proud of being half Scottish and enjoyed spending time with family in the Glasgow area. As a FEES Fund trustee I also hope taking part in the kilt walk will help raise FEES Fund presence in Scotland and encourage more applications to our small enrichment education support fund in the future. I’ve been enjoying training for the kilt  which has included visiting the other side of the world!

Day 3: An update from Susan, Hazel, Karri and Laura - we have been enjoying getting active in the fresh air on our training walks but we especially enjoy the good chat and time with friends. We are doing the kilt walk to support FEES fund and help to promote the charity in Scotland. xx
